Initial Enquiry
Start your journey by filling out the enquiry form at the bottom of this page to request the Portrait Experience & Artwork Price List. I’ll guide you through every detail, from location and wardrobe to timing, so your session feels effortless.
Booking Confirmed
Once your date is set, we’ll handle the paperwork and send an e-invoice and e-contract to secure your booking. You can choose your Collection and Artwork later at your Viewing Appointment, with the Bronze Collection as the minimum required.

Enjoy The Shoot
The Photoshoot! Enjoy a relaxed, love-filled session in the studio, focused entirely on you, your newborn, and your family. Free from distractions and full of precious moments.
Viewing Session
Return to our Subiaco studio for your one-hour viewing appointment to relive your baby’s earliest moments. Together, we’ll select your favourite images, collection, and artwork to treasure forever, emotions guaranteed, so tissues are always handy.
Artwork Collection
Collect your finished artwork 4–6 weeks after your viewing appointment, display it proudly, and treasure it for years. We’d love for you to share a photo with us at Cain Photography!

Newborn Photoshoot FAQs
Here's what we usually get asked by new mums
When is the best time to book a newborn photoshoot?
Newborns are best photographed between 5-14 days of age so they can curl up into those cute poses.
No worries if your baby is past 14 days old, we can still conduct the session but please note there will be more awake shots.
What is your minimum newborn photoshoot package?
The Bronze Collection is my minimum package, starting at $788 that includes 2 hours of newborn photoshoot session in the studio and digital copies.
Should parents be in newborn photos?
Yes! Parents, siblings and pets should be included in your newborn photography. I highly encourage everyone to be present during the photoshoot and capture these memories together.
Do you provide all the props?
Yes! All the Newborn wraps and props shown in my portfolio is included and stocked in my studio. It is cleaned & sanitised after each session.
New mums, will have access to my maternity closet. You can choose two outfits online. You are welcome to come and try on the clothes in my Subiaco studio prior to your photoshoot.
How long does it take to edit your images and have my viewing appointment?
2 weeks maximum. I want to make sure you LOVE your images, you get to choose how many images you would like to purchase.
Once you have chosen your favourite images I will do a final edit and you will get your High Res images via a downloadable gallery link.
All artwork will be ready for collection from Subiaco within 4-6 weeks. All images are provided to you in both Colour and Black & white.
